Welcome to GameVault! These Terms of Service govern your use of the GameVault application and website.

By creating an account and using GameVault, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

GameVault is a personal video game library management and tracking platform. We provide tools to synchronize your libraries from platforms like Steam and Xbox, track playtime, and socialize with other gamers.

3. User Conduct

You agree to use GameVault responsibly. You must not:

• Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
• Attempt to exploit or abuse the APIs we provide or connect to (e.g., IGDB, Steam).

4. Intellectual Property

GameVault is an independent application. We do not claim ownership of the video game assets displayed within the app. Game titles, box art, screenshots, and metadata are the intellectual property of their respective owners and are provided via the IGDB and IGDB APIs. GameVault is not affiliated with, endorsed, or sponsored by Valve Corporation (Steam), Microsoft (Xbox), or Sony (PlayStation).

5. Limitation of Liability

GameVault is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for any data loss, service outages, or issues arising from third-party API changes.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violating these terms or engaging in abusive behavior within the app's social features.
